Process for Peer Review

  • On-campus peer review: conducted in person during second half of class.
  • Online peer review: conducted by posting to D2L Forum.

Minimum Expections

  • Share in-class or post online at least one project.
  • Review at least three projects and respond with comments, either in person or by replying to the online post.

Suggested Analysis

  • Conduct a brief review, perhaps taking just one minute, to see if you can easily understand the document's organization and the approach taken with the design.
  • Review the interaction design in more detail by attempting to walk through core tasks.
  • Provide a systematic review of possible user actions and note how the interaction design addresses them.
  • Consider how the document motivates the design, perhaps by how it documents the design process.

Suggested Questions for Review

  • How easily you were able to understand how the design works?
  • Do you anticipate any problems that users would encounter as they interact with the design?
  • Did you find anything about the presentation or design that was particularly helpful or interesting?
