Final Project
Due Friday March 19 before 11:30pm

Overview

For the final project, you will develop an interactive web page of your choice that incorporates some audio or video elements. You may work on the final project with one or two other students.

Development and Requirements

While the choice of domain and the details of the web application are up to you, the resulting project should meet the following requirements:

  • It should involve audio or video elements.
  • The amount of detail and interaction involved with the page should should be greater than any of the weekly assignments.
  • It should incorporate new elements recently presented (last two weeks) in class or that you have learned on your own.
  • It should involve object-based coding elements that demonstrates your understanding of objects, properties and functions.
  • It should include a document summarizing what you have achieved and the new elements used in its development. If you have completed the assignment with other students in the class, the summary document should state how the individual students contributed to the project.
  • Each individual should make a video of them explaining some of the object-based coding elements in the code.
  • It should draw upon JavaScript coding practices that were emphasized in the course assignments.

Using outside resources, such as examples and plug-ins, is fine. However, be sure to document what resources you have used. Furthermore, use of outside resources does not count towards your contribution to the project. That is, you are expected to do additional work with the outside resources.

If you plan to work with one or two others, let me know the people in your group by Thursday March 5.
