Midterm Report
Due Saturday May 10 before 11:30pm

Overview

In this midterm report, you will present one significant concept exemplified with lines of React-based JavaScript code from your projects.

Development and Requirements

Choose one of the following two core concepts for React (and UI development):

• Component
• State

Note: you will be required to address the other concept as part of your final report.

Drawing from your own work, provide the following:

• General value and use of the concept
• Description and context of your example; present it in terms of the concept
• Explanations of how your example works

A complete successful report may fit on less than 1 page.

Submission

On D2L, submit a pdf of your report.

Grading

The midterm report is worth 20 points. It will be graded using the following criteria:

• Quality of the concept description and value
• Originality of the code
• Quality of the explanations
• Professional presentation
