Protocol

- Can I ask you some questions about how you handle unwanted phone calls? It should take about 10 minutes
- You don't have to answer a question if you feel uncomfortable with it. Also, I won't record your identity with any answers you provide.
- Are you ok continuing?
- When your phone rings, tell me how you handle it.
- As needed, follow up with these prompts
- Tell me more on how you do that...
- Tell me how you decide to answer the phone...
- Can you think of a case where you were not sure what to do?
- Would you mind referring to your phone and review recent calls? (if so...) Can you tell me how you handled recent ones?
- (if practical) Can you demonstrate to me what happens when you receive a possibly unwanted phone call?
